What are the student facilities inside your homestay?
We have a full range of facilities to make the students feel comfortable while staying with us.
They include a dining hall, student lounge, a library and a kitchen.
The bedrooms are fully aircondition and the showers are installed with water heaters.
There are super highspeed wifi connection and a refrigerator for student to use.
How far is your student homestay from public transport?
There are 2 MRT stations and a bus interchange near to our student homestay.
You can take a feeder bus from our homestay , and it will take bout 10 minutes to reach the MRT station, if there are no traffic congestion.
However, if you take a leisure walk to Lor Chuan MRT station, it will take about 20 mins.
Do you provide private tuition for the students?
No, we do not provide private tuition as part of our homestay package.
However, if requested, we can help to arrange one to one personal tuition in our homestay or small group tuition in one of the tuition center’s near our homestay.
How to tuition centres and private tuitor charge for tuition?
There are no fix charges or fees. How a tuitor charge depends on the experience and qualifications of the tuitor and whether the tutor is coming to the homestay and others.
If you have specific requirements in mind, we can help to check for you.
Do I have to pay a deposit to book a place in your student homestay?
To book a place in our student homestay, you need to pay a one month deposit.
This deposit will be return to you on the last day of your stay provided you give us one month’s notice of intention to leave.
Do you provide transport to the MRT stations?
Yes, in the morning, we provide transport to ferry our students from our student homestay at around 7.15am to the nearest MRT station or the nearest bus stops, so that students can take the MRT to reach their school punctually.
What other other facilities are near to your student homestay?
As for transport, there are 2 MRT stations and a bus station within walking distance.
There are 2 shopping malls, numerous shops, a 24 hr convenient store, a supermarket, food center all within walking distance from our student homestay.
There are also several tuition centers nearby.
Do you limit the use of the aircondition in the bedrooms?
No, we do not limit the use of the aircondition in the bedrooms.
However, if you leave the room, we hope that the student can switch off the aircondition to reduce global warming effect.
Can you arrange for airport transport to fetch me to your student homestay?
Yes, airport transport can be arranged, if you inform us in advance and subject to a small transportation charge.
Can meals be provided ?
If requested, we can provide meals at additional fee of $150/m per student.
For additional $150/m , we provide Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner during weekends and Breakfast and Dinner during weekdays.
